Our story begins when I was 13 years old.
I fell in love with a Welsh D mare who I ride for her owners. Unfortunately they moved to Wales so I vowed when I was older I would buy one of her foals.
Fourteen years later I found Plonkie (Hendy's last foal). It was love at first sight.
Plonkie introduced me to Dressage which he excelled at, winning me lots of championships (regional and national).
I retired him from competing 7 years ago, and he then turned his hand to teaching my daughter.
4 weeks ago Plonkie collapsed and even though he managed to get back up he wasn't the same, so we decided to spoil him and say goodbye at the age of 27. He truly was a horse of a lifetime. Nicki, September 2020
