A few years ago we sadly lost our sons pony Poe. Poe was a companion for other horses. On their retirement the previous family wanted Poe to carry on and have fun, at the age of 7 we took Poe on, he never had a saddle on his back but loved fuss from children. My son at the age of 4 adored Poe and spent hours brushing him. Each day we slowly introduced tack and schooled Poe. Twelve months later would you believe they were best friends and competed in local horse shows winning In-Hand Children Championship at Foxes Riding School (Wirral).
Poe was any childs dream pony. He would play duck apple with them, hide and seek in the field and would do what ever they asked of him. He gave my son so much confidence and made him the rider he is today.
Sadly 2 years ago Poe became very poorly and was taken into our vets and was on fluid drips and had a blood transfusion. We did everything possible to save this little man, he was part of us, but sadly he didnt make it.
Telling my son his best friend of 3 years who he had spent every single day with, had sadly passed away was the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
Poe had his mane plaited whilst in the vets to hold the drips. When he past away we cut this plait out and kept in safe memory. I heard about Tail End Jewellery but was scared the mane would go missing in the post. I spoke to the lady on the phone before sending and explained how much this mane meant to us as a family. I then sent it recorded delivery the following day being reasurred by the lady when she called me the follwing day to let me know it had arrived safely.
Best service I have ever had. I ordered a bracelet and keyring, within 2 weeks these were delivered back to my home address to be signed for. I would highly recommend and will be re-ordering myself next month for friends as Christmas presents. I am so happy with my bracelet and keyring they are beautiful, thank you so much. Poe will be with me forever now.
