Dancer came to us in 2016 as a 16 year old. She taught my daughter Lois how to jump at speed. We had until this point had show ponies, so Dancer was a new venture.
After starting my daughter jumping at 50cm and winning we increased the height to 60-70. This was the height the pony's ability was sold at (70cm). after winning many red rosettes at 70 we moved onto 80.
At 80 saw many more red rosettes and they started to ride for Chipstead Riding Club in team competitions. 2017 saw 5 championship shows and many many more wins. Win after win came and the pair were inseparable.
Last autumn disaster struck and she damanged a hind leg. We are not sure how as she was in the stable. Six months rest and rehab and once again dancer became sound.
A further 3 shows and placing they qualified for Licolnshire RC Championships after a win in May. Sadly though the leg injury returned at 18 years old so a horrid decision was made.
Dancer was a legend of a pony and what a pony she was. We loved and cared for her very much.
