Thank you for my beautiful bracelet, made from the tail of Careby Jubilee.
Careby Jubilee - my horse of a lifetime! We purchased CJ 10 years ago, as a 4 year old, and evented through the grades to BE Novice level. Neither of us had done any BE previously so we muddled through and taught each other! CJ was a cross country machine, ears pricked forward in every single picture!
CJ is pictured here in what turned out to be her last competition, the BRC NAF National Championships at Lincoln, competing in the Open showjumping for Houghton & Huntingdon RC! We had an amazing time, despite the rain! Little did we know that 2 weeks later she would sustain an injury that would ultimately end her life.
In true CJ style, she continued fighting for a further 3 weeks until it was time to say goodbye. It wasnt until we said goodbye that I realised she was truly my horse of a lifetime - I could never thank her enough for all she taught me, and all the experiences we shared.
