My horse Wally meant the world to me. He was 12 years old and became part of my family in 2018.
I spent most of my time with him. Everyone knew I was down the stables without even having to ask where I was. We were inseparable and created a bond never to be broken over the two years I had him. He learned to trust again and always knew I would be there whenever he needed me.
I tragically lost Wally last year in June in a loading accident while trying to move him to a new home.
I never expected it would result in him no longer being by my side.
I had to make the tough decision to lay him to rest and making that decision for my best friend was something I could never have prepared myself for.
However, I would like to thank Tail End Jewellery and Alison for creating the most beautiful necklace so I can forever hold him close to my heart as well as in my heart. Lucy, February 2021
